DjMeas - It's Only You (2000)

In my previous post about my very first recorded music track ever, I talked about recording sounds directly from my Yamaha PSR-530's headphone jack into my computer's sound card in. To go into a bit more detail, I wasn't recording it live (e.g. hitting record in some sort os sound recorder in Windows and playing on the keyboard itself). Instead, I was record individual C notes at different octaves (like C-2, C-3, C-4, C-5, etc). I would then go into ModPlug, assign these recorded sounds as a sample and transpose those within their octave range. This mean C-4 would cover each chromatic key up to B-4 and then C-5 would cover everything up to B-5. Why did I record it like this? I wasn't aware of VST and ModPlug's UI displayed notes in the same format <note>-<octave>.

Getting a bit more comfortable with how I'm recording, I wanted to record something that a bit more "fun". Listening to this track today, it really has a Sega Genesis vibe? You can decide!
